Latest news from the project:

- a final SP 2.1 version has been delivered for testing
- part of the new version will be an upgrade to Mssqlserver 2012
- sources and install files are expected to be delivered soon at http://survey.codeplex.com

It mean's it support SQL Server 2012 or it requires Sql server 2012 as minimum?
Also any idea how much days it would take to test?

Meaning it will require Mssqlserver 2012. Fixed release date not set yet.

I understand about sql server 2008 requirement but at the moment restricting to sql server 2012 is i think too much.By the way what's particular sql server 2012 features is going to be used in that released.as far as i know there isn't much new features for tsql related things and can be implemented with sql server 2008 as well.If i were a part of your team i could also made script for sql server 2008.
Now Looks like i have to drop the idea about further exploring this product

Hello,

Some good news. in between testing results show the databasescript for SP 2.1 final will work with Mssqlserver 2008 as well. Mssqlserver 2012 will be the new standard for further development along with .net 4.5 and  VS express 2012 (for web) but you will still be able to use the 2008 databaseversion.
