Hi, 

I have a problem with creating the questions and answers on my survey, if I put the answer as mandatory the form validates whether the answer is fulfilled or not, but does not validate my javascript function, i have created a new type whit the a a "Answer Type Creator" with a javascript function to validate Passaport number, but in the preview of survey the javascript not work. I tested the Field - Email that has a function to test an email in javascript but it also does not work.

Someone can help me?

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear you ran into these issues. I can confirm this is a bug related to the working of the current javascripts on build-in and newly created answer types.

The issues will be registered at the github development site to be analysed for a possible fix in SP v. 2.5

Meanwhile you can try to create your own (Jquery) version of the javascripts used in certain answertypes or make use of the regex expressions (e.g. to check the mail field) that can be set on the answer editor.
